Scottish Music by a member of Clan Hamilton! Rita performs locally throughout the Hampton Roads area, including the Williamsburg Scottish Games and the George Tucker House in historic Williamsburg. She has won numerous Scottish harp competitons, is a recipient of the Council Of Scottish Clans of America (COSCA) Ethel MacNeal scholarship, the Scot of the Year award from the St. Andrew’s Society of
Williamsburg, and the Clan Douglas award. She is the competition chair for the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, and is the first competing recipient of the Jan Pennington Gray award for harp. She is now on the Board of the Jan Pennington Gray Foundation.
