Reba Lunsford’s mother and grandmother were both piano and voice teachers who also served as church musicians. Following in their footsteps seemed the natural course for her life. She has led vocal and handbell choirs, played piano for services, and sung in small ensembles. Reba also formed a Celtic group, presided over the Gulf Coast Harpers, a Houston lever harp society, and was membership coordinator for the International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen. These days, she quilts, crochets, plays with grandchildren, and works for Melody’s Traditional Music and Harp Shoppe, where she’s been employed since 1997.
