John Hines is a Renaissance musician, having learned (and learned very well) many instruments as an adult, including recorder, whistle, lap dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, Irish wooden flute, and wire harp. His book, Early Music for Wire Harp, is considered historically accurate and is owned by many a wire harper.
